Role & Responsibilities

 • Takes lead role in working/planning with clients, Account Team and Cisco resources on developing strategies and the deployment of complex architectures and services.

 • Ability to present / articulate to customers and partners the value of Advanced Services.

 • Identifies opportunities with clients to expand services and delivery with clients, Account Team and relevant Cisco resources

 • Build and maintain consultative / trusted advisor relationship with clients

 • Performs problem analysis and acts as technical specialist for the complex deployments and provides highest-level crisis management.

 • Sets strategic and technical direction for AS best practices.

 • Contributes, leads, and creates accepted Leading Practice documents.

 • Identifies new and missing components in AS service portfolio and champions new service solutions to address them.

 • Leads, contributes to, and participates in multiple VTs.

 • Lead Innovative technologies and solutions in collaboration with Business Units.

 • Trains/Mentors others.

 • Represents AS innovative solutions in external forums and seminars.

 • Complies with and supports company policies, processes and utilizes relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Advanced Services’ strategies and goals.

 Education and Experience: Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 4-6 years of relevant work experience . CCNP/CCDP

Minimum Qualifications

 • Experience and knowledge of Service Provider Networking Environments

 • Must have good Network design skills with strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.

 • Advanced knowledge / experience with the following areas Cisco IOS-XR Software, IOS Software, ASR9K, other Cisco Routing & Switching Platforms, IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS, LAN Switching

 • Software and Feature Familiarity: MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS L2vpn, MPLS L3vpn, inter-as, BNG, carrier ethernet, Qos, Ipv6

 • Prior Scripting, Python, and/or Linux experience highly desired.

 • Must possess strong technical account management skills. Minimum 3 year of experience in Advanced / Professional Services or high-level support.

 • Large-scale network design skills

 • In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity planning

 • Excellent communication skills to assist all levels of customer. Must have excellent written, oral communication and listening skills

 • Self motivated with excellent leadership skills
